Two weeks ago we had an exclusive early
report that Sony is preparing an
October 28th release of
NewsRadio - The Complete Series on DVD, combining all 5 seasons of the show onto 12 discs, for $59.95 SRP. This morning the studio officially announced the release, confirming all of the info from our previous story. They also provided new details on specs, showing the video will continue to be full frame, with audio in English stereo and subtitles in English and Portuguese. It's also closed captioned for the hearing impaired. We had a small look at the front cover last time. Now Sony's sell sheet (see bottom) shows off the full-sized package art (although it's partially obscured by their burst with the pricing). That new picture reveals that there's been a coloring change to the package, compared to what we had before:
