Over a year ago we brought you Infinity Entertainment's official
press release for
Suspense - The Lost Episodes: Collection 2, the horror anthology series from the late '40s and early '50s which has featured both Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff, among the long list of Hollywood stars who have appeared in various episodes. In Infinity's press release, they teased fans by saying to "
look for one more Suspense collector's edition, another 30 lost episodes, coming to DVD soon!" In the 13 months since then, though, there hasn't been any word out of the studio about a
Lost Episodes: Collection 3 release. So one of our readers took matters into their own hands.
Richard Gregory discovered the classic TV show recently, and enjoyed the previous two sets from Infinity so much that he wrote to the studio and asked whether they had in fact dropped the series. Richard informs us that "
they replied in less than five minutes, and said that the third set of 'Suspense' should release on March 17th 2009!" Our independent sources confirm that this is indeed the currently planned schedule for
Suspense - The Lost Episodes: Collection 3, but they note that the studio hasn't announced it publicly yet and therefore it could be subject to change. Still, it's great to know that it's still on the way. Stay tuned and we'll keep you updated when it all becomes official. Our thanks to Richard for sharing his info with us, so we could share it with all of you!
